3rd Annual Community Cat Winter Shelter Building Event

Website: www.lifelinecatbehavior.com
What?
LIFELINE Cat Behavior Solutions’ 3rd annual Global Cat Day event! Our goal is to build 85 winter shelters for community cats. This event is open to the public, and volunteers are welcome (and needed)! No special skills are required. And because we have a large covered space (with restrooms), we will be building rain or shine.

Where?
The pavilion at Ryder Park in Ossining, New York (click on the map). Follow GPS directions to Dynamite Road. After entering the park on Dynamite Rd., drive straight up the hill. The pavilion will be on the left–parking is on the right.

When?
Saturday, October 7
10 am – 4 pm

Other Ways to Help: MAKE A MONETARY DONATION
The materials cost $50 to build a large shelter (for 2 to 3 cats) and $25 to build a single-cat shelter. Your donation enables us to donate shelters to cats who need them most.

DONATE A BALE OF STRAW
We always need straw, and Bennie’s Feed Barn has the best! We use the large, rough-cut bales (not compressed). Call ahead to make sure Bennie’s has them on site before going to the store: (914) 666-2368. Drop off a bale at the event, or contact us any time to make other arrangements.
